Dr. Kenneth Wayne Roush, 68, of Toledo, died suddenly on Wednesday, February 15, 2017.

Dr. Kenneth Roush was a humble leader with great integrity and a gentle show of strength. His life was dedicated to his Heavenly Father, his family and friends, his career, and making this world a better place through his dedication and care for everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Dr. Roush was not just a Cardiologist, he was a true healer. His medical expertise saved thousands of lives, and his selfless care for others touched countless more. Dr. Roushs many loved ones will remember his affection for them, first and foremost, as well as how much he enjoyed the beauty and solace of nature, coffee shops, adventure, travel, and music. He also loved philosophy and the Arts. His colleagues know him as an honest, highly intelligent, witty man who made so many valuable contributions to the medical field, both academically and to their own lives. His many accomplishments were so great. As a soccer coach and mentor, he invested into our future generations. He went on medical missions and touched nations. He contributed to medical journals and was highly esteemed in the medical community. His talks and presentations allowed him to share his extensive knowledge with many, both within the medical community and his church family. He was always there for his family in every aspect of our lives. We lost an incredible man, who was dearly loved and cherished. His love, generosity, and compassion were treasures that cannot be replaced. God took him home suddenly, and he will be missed; however, the imprint that he made on our hearts will always remain.
