Vincent Francis Mancinelli, 81, died February 18, 2014.

Born May 23, 1932 in Weirton, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Pio and Angelina DiSciullo Mancinelli.

Vincent is the founder and former owner of the Davidson Mancinelli Funeral Home. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1956, where he was distinguished as a member of the Supreme Council of Pi Sigma Eta. He served as Executive Secretary of the State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors from 1978 to 1989. He served as a corporal in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, and served as an officer and member of several organizations including the Serra Club, the Knights of Columbus in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Degrees, the Veterans of Foreign Affairs, Sons of Italy, the Kiwanis Club, BPOE Elks Club, and the Beau Monte Club. He served as a Board member for St Francis High School. Vincent was a member of St. Marys Roman Catholic Church, and formerly a member of St Theresas Catholic Church, St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and St Francis Catholic Church, where he served as a lector and usher.

Vincent is survived by his wife, Agnes Saab Mancinelli and four children Vincent Mancinelli, II, and spouse Michelle, Dr. Corrie Mancinelli and spouse, John Forester, Beth Mancinelli Wyant and spouse, E. Scott Wyant, Mark Mancinelli and spouse, Tracy. Vincent is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Eric Wyant II, Julian Wyant, Anya Mancinelli, Lucas Mancinelli, Gianna Mancinelli, Sophia Mancinelli, Nathan Mancinelli and Liana Mancinelli Forester, and by his sister and brother-in-laws, Blanche Saab, Cecilia Alexander, Peter Saab and Dorothy Mancinelli, as well as several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Vincent was predeceased by his siblings Pius Mancinelli, Viola Epifano and Florence Mancinelli. He was also preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Annie and Kicer Saab, brother-in-laws Paul Saab, John Alexander and Herman Epifano, sister-in-law Joan Saab, nephew Timothy Saab, and great-niece Heather Dodson.

Visitations will be held at St. Marys Roman Catholic Church on Friday, February 21, 2014, from 3pm to 8pm with a vigil beginning at 7:30pm.

Visitations will resume on Saturday, February 22 at 10am followed by an 11am funeral Mass and entombment at the St Marys Mausoleum with the Reverend Fathers John V. DiBacco and Mario Claro concelebrating.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes to memorialize Vincent through donations to the following organizations which were dear to him: the St. Marys Building fund, the St Marys Trust Fund for the Poor, In Touch and Concerned, Christian Help, or St Ursula's Food Pantry.
